🌸 ABOUT THE LIVE EVENT 🌸

We weave stories through music and bring hearts together.

The theme of this live event is “WA” — Japanese harmony and culture.

Through traditional Japanese music, the sounds of traditional instruments, and special performances inspired by the beauty and atmosphere of Japan, we invite you to experience Japanese culture in a whole new way.

This is more than a live show that you simply listen to.
It is an experience to be felt with all five senses and remembered in your heart.

We aim to create a space where you can fully experience the depth and beauty of Japanese culture through the waves of music.

For those who think:

🎤 PERFORMERS

1. THE NAMU-ZU

https://namuzu.net/

“Comedy × Buddhism × Music”

A Buddhist entertainment group that makes you laugh, cry, and learn a little along the way.

THE NAMU-ZU was formed in 2018 as a spin-off group of “BOZU BAND,” a band formed by actual Buddhist monks.

They perform mysterious and unique songs inspired by Buddhism and have a remarkable ability to turn any live event into their own home through their energetic performances.

They are also known for their creative Buddhist-themed covers of popular songs, which regularly go viral on TikTok, X, YouTube, and other social media platforms.

THE NAMU-ZU have performed at various music festivals and events, including YATSUI FESTIVAL, MIKADO, and KUSANONE FESTIVAL, as well as fireworks displays and local festivals, where their performances bring incredible energy to the crowd.

heir journey of spreading their message continues toward Tenjiku (the Western Paradise).

2. AKARA

AKARA is a Japanese rock band formed in 2014.

AKARA combines Japanese traditional instruments such as Koto, Shinobue and Nohkan with Rock / Metal sounds, and calls their original style of music “J-trad Rock.” Through this style, AKARA considers Japanese traditional instruments not only as instruments to “play traditional music,” but also as instruments that “live in the present,” and continues to introduce Japanese traditional music and culture to audiences in Japan and around the world.

From 2018 to 2025, AKARA performed six times at “JAPAN EXPO” in Paris, France, one of the world’s largest Japanese culture events. They also held a one-man performance in Cologne, Germany, and performed in front of approximately 10,000 people as the main act at “Japan-Tag” in Düsseldorf. AKARA has also toured Europe and performed at international events in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and other locations around the world.

In Japan, AKARA has performed at a dedicated event at Kamigamo Shrine, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, at halftime shows of official B3 League professional basketball games, and at charity and disaster recovery support events. Through these activities, AKARA continues to introduce Japanese culture through music in many different places and situations.

The members are MIKIKO (Vocal), Tommy (Koto), and TAKA (Shinobue / Nohkan).

For live performances, guitar, bass and drums are added to the band, creating a powerful stage that combines the sound of Japanese traditional instruments with strong Rock sounds.

“Japanese traditional instruments, Japanese culture, and Japanese songs to the world.”

Beyond countries and languages, AKARA continues to bring the beauty and strength of Japanese culture to the world through music.

🎁 DONATION
All profits from this live event will be donated to an organization dedicated to promoting international cultural exchange. We also plan to set up a donation box near the drink sales area at the venue on the day of the event.

A donation box will be placed at the drink counter.

🌏 ABOUT SBS

SBS — Side By Side
SBS is a student team that was created through BlastBeat, an NPO that runs an educational program originating in Ireland with the keywords:

“Music × Entrepreneurship × Social Contribution.”

Through planning and running live music events as a “mini music company,” BlastBeat gives students opportunities to learn about business, teamwork, and leadership.

The name SBS represents our wish to be “side by side” and to work together.

We created this live event with the hope that music can naturally bring Japanese people and international students together, while giving everyone an opportunity to discover and appreciate each other’s cultures.

At this live event, we want music to be more than something you simply listen to.

We want music to become a starting point for connecting people and discovering new cultures, perspectives, and values.

Japanese people and international students.People meeting for the very first time.

By listening to the same music and sharing the same space, we hope people can naturally connect beyond differences in language and culture.

That is the kind of encounter we want to create through this live event. 🪄✨

🎶 ABOUT THE TITLE — “ENSO”

The name “Enso (縁奏)” combines two Japanese concepts:
縁 (en) — a connection, bond, or meaningful encounter奏 (so) — to play or perform music

Together, 縁奏 expresses the idea of:

“Every encounter becomes a connection, and as those connections and feelings come together, they create new music.”

Beyond enjoying the music, you may encounter someone new.You may discover a culture you’ve never known before. You may find a new perspective that stays with you long after the music ends.

The connections created on this day, in this place, will never be exactly the same again.

Will you join us and create this harmony of connections together? 🎶

We look forward to welcoming you at 縁奏!
